Why a Wireless ISP?

We are based in the rural North West of Ireland. Delivery of reliable, capable and customer friendly. For this reason we have decided our next project will be to establish and provide an ISP for the North West of Ireland.

We are currently working to secure sites, equipment and innovative new technologies. We don't want to recreate a WiSP, we want to build one from the ground up to be better. Our vision will power yours, with both enterprise and personal solutions.

Traditional WiSP networks, such as those that already operate in the North West area of Ireland, use CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) over the 2.4Ghz band to an AP (Access Point). Then using MLPS core's and other such systems your data is transferred from your home or business to the internet.

We think this is inherently wrong. The problem created is multiple points of wireless communications. This is problematic. Our system will attempt to provide a single point of wireless data transfer, the SBU (Sub-Base station), in a populated area and the data will be carried to the home by physical cable. This eliminates the unpredictability of wireless in multiple points.

Our network engineers already have experience with Ubiquiti wireless products aswell as AirMax, MLPS and NAT Routing. Our network is currently being designed with speed and efficiently in mind.
